Color is a multi-million-dollar industry. We know that the color of the year is expected wherever there is color, from textiles to the automotive industry, from wall paint to packaging materials. After a year of predominantly negative processes, we start 2024 with a hopeful color.

Given the shrinking economy and declining purchasing power, we observe that consumers are struggling with ongoing uncertain economic and environmental factors. This insecure environment leads us to want to escape to a peaceful space and clear our heads. At this point, a new color, new excitement and a new production movement are born.

Taking all this into consideration, according to WGSN and Colora, the authority on consumer and design trends, Apricot Crush is chosen as the color of the year 2024. In times of intense uncertainty, Apricot Crush marks the new year as a color full of hope and positivity.

Intense Rust expresses authenticity and quiet luxury, encouraging the return of classic design. Midnight Plum, a strong purple that connects to the themes of space exploration and the meta-universe as artificial intelligence evolves and the digital era is upon us, also aligns with consumers’ growing desire for escape. Sustained Grey, with its more sustainable, seasonal transitions and long- term appeal, strikes a balance with its timeless hue. And finally Cool Matcha with its calming pastel finish. Emphasizing the proper use of energy resources, Cool Matcha encourages the production of plant-based materials using nature and technology.
